FGH Security has provided stadium security to Morecambe Football Club since 2018. The matchday stewarding role has been a favourite of many of our staff who enjoy working in the busy and exciting atmosphere of a football stadium. The Mazuma Stadium was the first to join our stadium security portfolio, which has since grown to include X stadia and is still growing and also includes Wembley Stadium, which is the home of English football.
We are proud to keep Morecambe FC, and their loyal fanbase, safe at the Mazuma Stadium. Morecambe are currently in League One, the highest position the club has reached in its 100-year history. Promotion to that division served as a fitting tribute in the club’s centenary year. As a result, we have seen increased interest locally in the success of the team.
On match days we supply 25 Crowd Safety Stewards. This involves collaboration with Lancashire Constabulary. We keep fans safe and help to provide an all-around excellent experience at the Mazuma Stadium. In the last 12 months, we did not experience any major crowd disturbances. We put this down to the quality of the partnership we have developed with the Stadium Safety Team at Morecambe FC.
Morecambe FC is committed to ensuring the safety of its fans. Our Stadium Security team combines people’s safety with outstanding customer service delivery. This allows us to balance many competing priorities in order to deliver the best experience to everyone.
The Mazuma stadium has a capacity of 6,476 and it has been the home of Morecambe FC since 2010. We hope that it will continue to be their home for many years to come and that FGH Security continues to be an effective partner to the club for many years.
