Our business relationships are partnerships
Back in March we wrote how excited we were to have added a brand new festival, Sound City, to our events season. Now we’ve actually provided the security for this truly unique event; Wow- we can’t wait to come back for seconds. From May 27th – 29th Liverpool’s Bramley-Moore Dock was thrumming with people ready to celebrate Liverpool’s musical culture and attend, probably their first festival on the season. With acts such as Catfish and the Bottlemen, The Coral, Pete Doherty and Circa Waves, Sound City drew thousands of people from across the North West to Liverpool’s waterfront. They came for an on-trend and on-point original live music and arts experience which can’t replicated anywhere else in the UK. This was certainly the perfect way to kick start our exciting and jam-packed festival calendar: ‘What a way to start our Summer season of festival deployments,’ explained Dave Hassall, FGH Senior Manager. ‘From start to finish the staff worked exceptionally hard to ensure that everyone had the warmest welcome and weren’t waiting in line for hours, but above all could enjoy themselves in a safe environment. They were a credit to the company and as the final night drew to a close the client took the time to tell me the service was above and beyond what they hoped for.’
FGH provided a comprehensive security solution which included a large scale Event Security deployment during the event’s opening hours supplemented by a Security Guarding deployment during the site’s downtime. Liam Cook, Manager from the Sound City team was very happy with how the event ran: ‘As Dave mentioned the staff were faultless in delivering a very professional, customer focused security operation, which enabled the Directors of Sound City to focus on the production side of the festival. This is something we should all be proud of and which couldn’t have been achieved without meeting the FGH Values, Team Work, Friendship, Pride and Integrity.
